Q: Can I use another type of fish for this congee?
A: Yes, you can substitute cod with other firm, white fish, but the flavor profile may change slightly.
Q: What if I don’t have a congee cooking mode on my cooker?
A: You can cook the congee on a low simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Q: Is it necessary to marinate the cod with chicken sauce?
