Homestyle Ground Pork and Tofu Recipe

Notes

Ingredients:
  • 5g Minced Ginger
  • 350g Tofu
  • 50g Ground Pork
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Wine
  • 1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce (for marinating)
  • 1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce (for sauce)
  • ½ Tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • ½ Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Starch
  • ½ Bowl of Water
  • Oil
  • Chopped Green Onions
  • Doubanjiang (fermented bean paste)
Instructions:
  1. Chop the cooked pork finely and mix with black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, and 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by combining 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, ½ tablespoon of dark soy sauce, ½ tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of starch, and ½ bowl of water. Mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped green onions and Doubanjiang until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated ground pork and stir-fry until evenly cooked.
  5. Add the tofu and the prepared sauce to the pan.
  6. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, then sprinkle with green onions and increase the heat to reduce the sauce.
  7. The dish is ready when it's aromatic and the sauce has thickened, perfect to serve with rice.
