Korean Bibimbap: A Delicious Mix of Rice, Vegetables, and Egg

Notes

Ingredients:
  • Yellow bean sprouts, a small amount
  • Pea shoots, a small amount
  • Grated carrot, a small amount
  • Shiitake mushrooms, a small amount
  • Sweet corn kernels, a small amount
  • Kimchi, a small amount
  • 1 egg
  • Sesame oil and sesame seeds, to taste
  • Bibimbap sauce, to taste
  • Steamed rice, as needed
Instructions:
  1. Place steamed rice at the bottom of a bowl.
  2. Arrange cooked vegetables (bean sprouts, pea shoots, carrot, corn kernels, mushrooms) over the rice.
  3. Add kimchi.
  4. Fry an egg sunny-side up and place it on top. If preferred, fry on both sides.
  5. Drizzle bibimbap sauce over the dish.
  6. Add a drizzle of sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. Mix everything together before eating. Note: This dish is especially recommended for summer.
